Sorry it took awhile guys but with the Americans going home after a long weekend, we were forced to spend the night in Niagara Falls. Thats fine but we were eager to get on with this Diners, Drive-ins and Dives road trip. And today, we did by visiting 2. At lunch time, we arrived at our first Triple D. Lake Effect Diner in Buffalo, NY. It was everything we hoped it would be. The smoked ham breakfast, smoked turkey breakfast, burger and banana pancakes. Hell yum.
For our second diner, a trip down the highway to Pittsburgh, we hit Big Jims. Now we are getting serious about food. Mike ended up getting that Big as your head Veal Parm on Italian Loaf. And it was HUGE!! And good. Nick got the Chicken parm on a hoagie. HELLO!! Wendy got the Baked Ziti. LOVING IT!! And Lora got the Stuffed Shells. YUM YUM YUM!!! Now, we can't move. Stuck in the hotel room thinking about hitting the pool to burn off these unwanted calories. Yet, its all worth it. Next stop, ??????????!!!!!!!
